This site is dedicated to the woman who taught me about art and film, and loved The Today Show, which is broadcasted from Studio 1A in Rockefeller Center. She had an affinity for knowing what was visually important. Her early love of the Barnes Collection and its importance was passed on to her very young student. She loved the fact that like herself, Dr. Barnes was not formally trained in art, but understood the importance of it and sought out mentors, like those that Dr. Barnes had found that had a real passion for non-traditional art.
This woman, who I fondly called mom, also loved stage, film, and all things based in New York, and always enjoyed Matt Lauer.
In loving memory of G. Simons.
